Kurt Okraku has been re-elected as the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for a second term.
He stood unopposed for the position following the disqualification of aspirant George Afriyie from the race.
The 52-year-old GFA boss polled 117 of the 120 votes. Two delegates voted against him while the other abstained from voting.
The Elective Congress, still ongoing to fill out other executive portfolios, met today, September 5, 2023, in Tamale in the Northern Region.
Kurt Okraku assumed the role of GFA President in 2019 following the ousting of Kwesi Nyantakyi from the position due to alleged corruption in the aftermath of an Anas Aremeyaw exposé.
