Renowned Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, well known as Shatta Wale, has called for 90 per cent airplay of Ghanaian songs.
He made this call during his State of the Nation Address which was monitored by Newshuntermag.com on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
The Shatta Movement leader stressed the roles that the media, stakeholders and government need to play to make this a reality.
“This must be a national agenda. Let’s all get involved to make it happen,” he said.
Shatta Wale also talked about how beneficial it will be if there are popular and big events being held in all the regions in the country annually.
Following his break from social media, the musician indicated that he is back for good.
He further disclosed his readiness to work with any company that will approach him for business.
Additionally, Shatta Wale revealed plans towards the release of his next project.
