Ghanaian Highlife musician, Dada Kwaku Duah, well-known as Dada KD, has passed on.
His death was reported in the late hours of Friday, May 16, 2025.
Many people, including friends, colleagues and fans, took to social media to mourn his demise.
The cause of Dada KD’s death is yet to be revealed publicly. However, close sources indicate that he died at the Gbawe Hospital in Accra following a short illness.
He was known for songs like Fatia Fata Nkrumah, Odo Mu Anigyea, My Heart Goes Boom, Honey Love and others.
A few days ago, Dada KD complained about the royalty system in Ghana for musicians following an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM. He also revealed why he was done with politics.
