Many Gospel Musicians Use ‘Juju’ – Rev. Dr David Kyeremeh

Gospel music is said to change lives and make maximum impact in the lives of many. However, in our modern day society gospel music as gradually taking a negative turn in the quest for fame and money.

Rev. Dr David Kyeremeh in a studio discussion with Habibu Shiabu (NaaBay) the host of Entertainment House on the airwaves of Metro 90.5fm confirms the use of Black Magic popularly known in our local dialect as Juju by many gospel artists.

The Pastor, who doubles as a gospel musician, disclosed and revealed that some gospel musicians come to him for prayers when the Black Magic fails them.

“There have been instances where gospel musicians buys and take CD’s of fellow gospel musicians to shrines and other places just to bring sales of CD’s down. “

The ‘waboa me’ hit maker stated clearly it’s hard for music to hit and gain recognition and that plays integral part in the patronage of juju by gospel musicians.

“Most gospel musicians or artist are not called by God into his ministry, and as such these false ones uses Black Magic in selling their songs. The act is bad and this is destroying our industry,” he added.

According to Rv. Dr David Kyeremeh it’s very true some artist engulfs themselves in the act of using certain practices such as drinking of alcohol, smoking of marijuana etc. to enhance their stage craft and performances.
