The Ghana Premier League had been rock with series of court injunctions

On Monday 5th February, 2018, the Ghana Premier League Board
and Ghana football Association was set to host the launch of the 2017/2018 League
season at the GFA secretariat.
Surprisingly after hours of waiting, the spokes person of the
Premier League Board Taminu Issah, mounted the podium to announce that the
launch has been cancelled, due to a court injunction served on behalf of Accra
Great Olympics.
This means the Premier League can’t commerce until Ghana
Football Association resolves their Issues with Accra Great Olympics.
Is this currently occurrence healthy for sponsors?
The Marketing Supervisor of Nasco Electronics, Adiza Ibrahim
in a chat with SVTV Africa’s Host Evans Amewugah, expressed disappointment
in the league organisers.
“Coming on board as sponsors for the first time, we were
excited of sharing our exciting new packages and brands with football patrons.
Out of the blue we are told the launch has been called off, I am not happy and
it’s not good for my brand,” she bemoaned.

When asked about the exciting new packages that Nasco
Electronics wants to bring on board, Adiza answered: “We will keep our packages a secret till the Premier
League board and Ghana Football Association communicates with us, as the spoke
person made mentioned in his announcement…as we go home feeling disappointed.”
