Prolific Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, well known as Sarkodie, has taken part in an online campaign launched for Akuapem Poloo to be freed.
The actress and model was convicted by the Accra Circuit Court yesterday, April 14, 2021, after she posted a nak*d photo with her son last year.
While she is yet to be sentenced, many Ghanaian social media users have launched a campaign with the hashtag #FreeAkuapemPoloo.
In a post sighted by Newshuntermag.com, Sarkodie pleaded for the law to pardon the vocal Ghanaian actress and model.
He stated that it will be harsh for a child to be separated from the mum just because of pictures taken.
The Sarkcess Music Boss wrote on Twitter: “I think it’s a little harsh to separate a child from the mum just because of pictures taken … would want to plead with the law to pardon our sister…#FreeAkuapemPoloo.”
