My Mother Told Me Ghana Was Not Worth Dying For – Efia Odo Reveals Why She Didn’t Attend #FixTheCountryDemo

Ghanaian actress and model, Efia Odo, known in private life as Andrea Owusu, has revealed why she didn’t attend the #FixTheCountry demo.

Efia Odo, who was one of the organizers of the demonstration was missing in action on the day.

Answering a question about why she didn’t attend, Efia said her mother told her Ghana was not worth dying for.

According to her, this was after she received a lot of threats.

Efia Odo wrote in a post sighted by Newshuntermag.com: “My life was threatened on numerous occasions and my mother begged and cried for me to not go. She told me Ghana was not worth dying for but I can in my own way make a change.”
