Ghanaian Gospel duo, Tagoe Sisters, has recounted the difficulties in life.

The revered Gospel musicians recalled the hard work they did some years ago in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM that Newshuntermag.com has come across.

According to them, they have no option but to do these works.

Tagoe Sisters revealed they carried blocks, sand and mixed mortar at construction sites.

The duo averred this was during their school days.

They also reminisced about working at a quarry site at a place where the Achimota station is now located.

The twin sisters disclosed they were staying with their adopted father, Nana Ekumfi Ameyaw.

How they got their name, Tagoe Sisters was also revealed in this interview.

Known in private life as Lydia Dedei Yawson Nee Tagoe and Elizabeth Korkoi Tagoe, the duo started singing in 1983.
