The head coach of Legon Cities Football Club, Goran Barjaktarevic has been sacked.

Report says his contract was terminated after handling 17 games for the club due to abysmal performance.

Barjaktarevic replaced Ghana’s John Paintsil after he couldn’t meet the league criteria of having a CAF License A certificate.

His winning games for Legon Cities were recorded in the truncated season of which the team were at the 14th position on the league log.

Following this, the management of the club bought twelve (12) new players to beef up the squad. If you would recall, Asamoah Gyan was part of the new players.

Despite the huge investment made by the management of Legon Cities, they are yet to win a match in the ongoing season of Ghana’s Premier League.

They were whipped by Accra Great Olympics 3 goals to zero in their last premier league game on Friday.

Legon Cities will battle with Medeama Sporting Club in their next match on Friday, November 27, 2020. Currently, the new coach who will replace Goran Barjaktarevic has not been announced.
