Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, well known as Medikal, has reacted to reports that he has purchased a fake Rolex watch.
Claims about the AMG rapper wearing a fake Rolex watch went viral on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
This was after an Instagram page ‘Munich Wrist Busters’ noted for spotting fake jewellery from original ones concluded on Medikal’s watch that it’s fake.
“With a fake Rolex Datejust. His watch is far too high for an original Datejust. In addition, the bezel is clearly too wide and the notches are far too pronounced. The crown of the watch is not in no way similar to that of an original one,” read a caption of Medikal’s photo with his Rolex posted by Munich Wrist Busters.
The ‘Omo Ada’ composer broke his silence on the issue in a post-Newshuntermag.com has seen.
He wrote: “If a $10,000 (GHC 60,000) watch I purchased from a Rolex store is fake, then maybe that’s all I can afford.”
