The Black Satellites of Ghana have put smiles on the face of Ghanaians as the county marks its 64th Independence Day Celebration.

Black Satellites defeated Uganda in the final encounter of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations at the Stade Olympique de Nouakchott in Mauritania on Saturday, March 6, 2021.

Two goals from Daniel Barnieh were enough for Ghana to clinch the trophy.

Daniel scored in both halves of the game—without a reply from the Uganda side.

The team headed by Abdul Karim Zito won the tournament for the first time since 2013.

This is the fourth time the Black Satellites have won this trophy.

Congrats to them.
