The host Nation came from behind to defeat Nigeria 1-2.
Nigeria took the lead in the 38th minute after William Troost-Ekong headed the ball into the net.
The Nigerian side defended their lead till the end of the first despite Cote D’Ivoire’s pressing and leading possession.
In the 62nd minute, Franck Kessié equalised for the Ivorians by heading the ball into the net.
With so much determination to win the trophy, the host nation kept pressing until they found another goal.
Sébastien Haller got the winning goal for Ivory Coast in the 81st.
