Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu, has said it should not be a problem for the government of Ghana to pay its citizens.
He stated in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM which was monitored by Newshuntermag.com that the Ghanaian government should be capable of paying Ghanaians.
The well-known Kumawood actor averred it will even be a cheat if the government pays GHS 2,000 monthly to Ghanaians.
Looking at the natural resources in the country, Manu thinks the payment should not be a problem if the government is to pay.
Revealing the number of Ghanaians travelling abroad to seek greener pastures, the actor said those at home should enjoy this payment.
Kwaku Manu wondered why the government is not investing in agriculture to feed its citizens—as the country can boast of fertile land.
