Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, the Ghanaian woman who is attempting to break the Guinness World Record’s longest singing marathon by an individual, is married to Kofi Owusu Aduonum.
Afua Asantewaa’s husband, Mr Kofi Owusu Aduonum, is a Ghanaian sports writer/journalist who plies his trade with Daily Guide.
They have been married for some years now. The couple have given birth to three kids.
In a social media post-Newshuntermag.com came across, Afua revealed most people do not believe she is married and had given birth to three children.
Her husband, Mr Owusu Aduonum, has been a strong pillar behind her after she took the decision to break the Guinness World Record.
He was captured supporting his wife publicly in a video. Mr Aduonum was holding a placard with an inscription: “More Strength Afua!!!”
Following this, he disclosed in an interview that he hadn’t slept since Afua started the sing-a-thon.
Afua Asantewaa, as at the time this report was filed, had sung for 4 days and 14 hours. She aims to break the 105-hour record held by Sunil Waghmare from India.
