Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim, has recounted how she was raped by her ex-boyfriend.
Speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that Newshuntermag.com has come across, Juliet said she endured a lot of ill-treatments in that relationship.
She recalled the time she was crying and begging her ex-partner to stop, but he did not listen.
Juliet revealed she was pinned down and her ex-boyfriend was smiling while kissing her—he then stated that it was nothing.
The renowned actress also disclosed that she was locked up in a room by her ex-partner for some days until her sister, Sonia found her.
She stated that she did not get anyone to report the incident to at that time.
Juliet Ibrahim, therefore, advised women to report such incidents because there are so many institutions to handle them now.
