Drake Leads BET Hip-Hop Awards 2014 Nominations; Check Full List

The Drake takeover continues as he lands eight nominations at the BET Hip-Hop Awards 2014. The Canadian rapper scores nods in categories including Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, Album of the Year, Hustler of the Year, and the People’s Champ Award. Jay Z, Future, and Pharrell follow with six nods, while Nicki Minaj, Rich Homie Quan, and YG pick up five nominations. Ofcourse, you expect Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Eminem and J, Cole to be nominated for the Lyricist of the Year. The show which comes off on the September 20 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta will be hosted by Snoop Dogg premiered on October 14 at 8 p.m. ET.
