I Sold My Flat-Screen TV To Record A Song – Musician

Asante Mampong-based musician, Kwasi Kuffour Messiah has
revealed that his journey into the Ghanaian music scene has not been easy.

According to him, finance has been his major challenge after
he started his music career.
”Finance has been a challenge.  The talent is there but everything is about
money in this field. I remember that I sold my flat screen TV to record this
song [Mekromu Car].  It is not easy,” he
told Moses Aluebase (Alligator the Captain) on Storm FM’s Mid Morning Show.
“My first song was recorded in 2004. I am working on an
album but before that I am just releasing singles.We released Evil which featured
Willy Maame and Ice Tee. We followed it up with Mad and other mix tapes,” he
stated.
Kwasi who won’t give up despite the challenges said he has a
lot of surprises for his fans in this New Year.
According to him, Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour
is his mentor though he takes inspirations from other Ghanaian musicians.
“I take inspirations from Obour, Obrafour, Kwaadee and
Sarkodie,” Kwasi Kuffour revealed.
