Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Enterprising Dancehall Artiste, Nelson Duut, stage name—Black
Boi, has lauded the efforts of Mr Ransford Antwi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
of Suncity Radio, at unearthing and supporting talents for the progress and
development of Brong Ahafo and Ghana as a whole.
“My drive and energy to push my song, ‘Bibiaa Beye Fine’
(literally, all will be well) was through the inspiration and support from Mr
Ransford Antwi,” Black Boi told Melvina Frimpong Manso, when he featured live on
Suncity Radio’s weekend entertainment show, Showbiz 971, on Saturday afternoon.
He testified that Mr Antwi had been instrumental in the
discovery and development of young talents in various fields, from the Brong
Ahafo region—all for the positive projection and development of the area.
The young dancehall artiste used the platform to appeal to
other well-to-do citizens of the region, to follow the shining example of ‘Bro’,
(as Mr Antwi is widely known) to support the youth of the region for its rapid
transformation.
Black Boi was on the show with his Manager, Owusu Nyarko,
a.k.a ‘Freddie Gucci’, Pee Jay Sparta, Michael, Okrah and all members of the
Rebel Africa Label, to promote his upcoming EP, through tours in Ashanti, Brong
Ahafo and Northern regions.
