Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, widely known as Shatta Wale, has been penalized by the court.

An Accra Circuit Court presided over by Emmanuel Essandoh has fined him GH¢2,000.

This was after he pleaded guilty to the charge of publicizing false news during a court hearing on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

According to a Graphic Online report that Newshuntermag.com has seen, the popular musician changed his earlier plea of not guilty to guilty.

Shatta Wale was arrested some months ago after a viral report that he has been shot.

He staged this following Jesus Ahoufe’s prophecy that he was going to be shot if he does not pray fervently.

The prophet was also apprehended over the prophecy he made.
