A close source told Sunyani-based Suncity Radio’s Reagan Kofi Asomah that the incident happened about three days ago but the family got to know about it on Thursday, December 7, 2017.
“It appears he hanged himself on the crossing bar in his room. Looking at how the body is decomposing…it seems the sad incident occurred three days ago. He lives with his two sisters but they were not available at the he took his life,” the source disclosed.
The body has been deposited at the morgue—as the police begin with investigations to ascertain what caused his death.
Luther Boateng played for Tano Bofoakwa two seasons ago.
