Freda Owusuaah Bioh, a fast-rising and influential figure in Ghana’s media landscape, has been celebrated at the 2025 National Shakers Conclave and Awards for her outstanding contributions to the industry.
In the media category, Freda was recognized as one of the global change-makers dedicated to securing a better future. Her recognition places her among an elite group of individuals making significant impacts in their respective fields.
Reacting to the honour in an interview with Newshuntermag.com, Freda expressed deep gratitude and humility. “I feel humbled and overwhelmed to be acknowledged among the selected change-makers in the media space,” she said.
With a decade of experience in Ghana’s media industry, Freda Owusuaah Bioh has earned admiration for her unwavering commitment, work ethic, and compassionate spirit. Her influence extends beyond the microphone, as she continues to uplift communities and give back in impactful ways.
The former J. Life FM presenter also spoke about her current pursuits. “I’m currently working on my own online radio station called Merro Radio, and I’m also actively engaged in content creation,” she revealed.
Touching on her latest initiative, Freda highlighted a deeply personal and socially impactful project. “My current focus is seeking support for an orphanage home in the Ahafo Region to help complete their building. I just want to bring smiles to people’s lives. This is my passion, and I’m praying for the strength to do my best—with the help of God and support from others,” she shared.
The Ghana edition of the National Youth Shakers Conclave and Awards, where Freda received her honour, was held at the Palms Convention Center at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on March 29, 2025. This year’s event was celebrated under the theme: “Appreciation, Succession & Legacy!”
The Youth Shakers Conclave and Awards is organized by the Relevant Achievers Impacting Nations Foundation (RAIN Foundation), under the leadership of renowned Ghanaian author and global figure, Ralph Antwi. The platform celebrates trailblazers who are shaping the future through their vision, innovation, and dedication.
