The National Service Scheme (NSS) on Friday, September 29, 2023, released the first batch of postings for 122,275 prospective national service personnel for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The personnel who will undertake their mandatory one-year service to the nation across various institutions and sectors include eligible graduates, those who defaulted on their application for postings in previous years, and private registrants.
Validation and registration across regions will commence on Monday, October 16, at all centers in the country, according to a press statement released by NSS management, signed by Executive Directory, Osei Assibey Antwi. This is to accommodate individuals yet to complete their academic programs.
Subsequently, the 2023/2024 service year will begin on Wednesday, November 1.
The second batch of postings will also be released in due course, the statement said.
