Outstanding defender, Alexander Djiku wears the captain band today for the first time in the international friendly match between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Lone Stars of Liberia.
He is leading the team in the absence of Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey, and Jordan Ayew in the starting eleven.
Today’s lineup comprises Abdul Manaf Nurudeen as the goalkeeper, with Kingsley Schindler, Nicholas Opoku, and Abdul Hamid Fatawu making up the defense. Baba Iddrisu and Edmund Addo have taken up their positions in the midfield, with Mohammed Kudus, Ernest Nuamah, and Antoine Semenyo forming the attacking setup.
The game kicked off at 4 p.m. today at the Accra Sports Stadium.
