The father of the young girl who allegedly committed sui.ci*de at Miracle Junior High School in the Bono Region has broken his silence.
Following the sad demise of Leticia Kyere Pinaman, no words were heard from his dad for some time.
After the devastating incident was widely reported by a lot of media outlets in Ghana, Mr Williams Kyere has reacted to the unwelcoming news.
In a report available to Newshuntermag.com, Mr Kyere blamed the school authorities for negligence since they were to ensure the safety of the children.
“My daughter is a calm and reserved type. She doesn’t lack anything and I am always in touch with her through one of her teacher’s mobile phone,” he said.
“What shocked us is that after inspecting the body there was no indication that my daughter committed suicide. When doctors examined the body there were no traces of urine or faeces. Her eyes were closed and the tongue was intact.
“We saw some marks on her left arm, an indication that something strange happened to her,” he sadly revealed.
“Since the school is responsible for the safety of our child, we would blame the authorities for negligence,” Mr Kyere added.
This comes after his wife and daughter suspected foul play.
