A section of Ghanaian celebrities have reacted to the death of Former President, Jerry John Rawlings.

The sad news of the demise of H.E J.J Rawlings was announced on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

Following this, some celebrities and public figures in the country took to their social media pages to send their message of condolences.

They were all saddened about the death of the former President.

In a post Newshuntermag.com came across, Lydia Forson, a Ghanaian actress said history will never forget Jerry John Rawlings.

Popular Ghanaian female media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah wrote: “hmmm” and wondered about what the year 2020 have brought.

Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan tweeted, “R.I.P Thank you for everything. Ghanaians will always remember you hero.”

Bridget Otoo, Efia Odo and Nikki Samonas also joined with their condolence messages.
