Popular Ghanaian songstress, Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, widely known as Becca, has reacted to the death of her mother.
The sad demise of her mother was reported on Friday morning.
According to a report, she passed on in London following a short illness.
Reacting to the sad news in a post on Instagram, Becca described the day as one of the darkest days in her life.
She also pleaded with people to respect the privacy of her family because the “shock and pain is unbearable”.
Becca wrote: “One of the darkest days of my life. I just lost My mom… Madam Julie Oti following a very brief illness. This shock and pain is unbearable and the family would like to beg for understanding and respect of our privacy during this difficult time to mourn.”
