The Blacks Stars have progressed to the final qualifying round of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil by beating Zambia by two goals to one in Kumasi. It was striker Majeed Waris who registered the first goal for the Black Stars after 18 minutes of play sending the expectant crowd into wild jubilation. Kwadwo Asamoah scored the second goal for the Stars in the 60 minutes while Sinkala pulled one back for the Zambians. Coach Kwesi Appiah’s side are through to the final hurdle where 10 teams will play in a play-off for Brazil 2014.
