Wanlov asks Multimedia to sack Blakk Rasta or face court action
Popular
Ghanaian musician and one half of the FOKN
Bois, Wanlov D Kubolor has threatened to sue
Multimedia Group of Companies, the umbrella
body of Hitz FM if its employee Blakk Rasta is
not sacked from the station due to a fierce
confrontation which we gathered occurred on
the October 24th, 2013 between the two when
they met at the premises of the Multimedia
Group in Accra.
The confrontation which according Wanlov led
to him being slapped by the Hitz fm presenter
has therefore triggered his decision to sue the
company if the reggae artist and presenter is
not sacked by his employees.
In a tweet at Nigerian artist Iyanya, when asked
what happened on that fateful day, Wanlov said;
@Iyanya i apologise for today chale. Someone
had just slapped me and run away so my mind
was hot.
He however cast a swipe at Blakk Rasta as he
believed he was unworthy to be called an
ambassador to the Musicians Union of Ghana
(MUSIGA) for his conduct.
The two have not been on good terms since a
controversial video exposé posted by Deloris
Frimpong Manso on YouTube that got many
talking including Blakk Rasta who at one point in
time referred to the artist as a "coke head".
Blakk Rasta according to fans who listen to him
on air, on several occasions, he has had to use
certain unsavory words at Wanlov, with which
Wanlov's weapon to retaliate has always been
the social network, Twitter.
We shall keep you all posted on whatever
happens.
