Mad rush for RTP Award tickets
At long last, the much awaited ticket for RTP
Awards has arrived from South Africa for sale
towards the forthcoming awards night on 5th
December, 2013 at the International Conference
Center AICC.
Asked why the tickets were printed all the way
from South Africa, Founder of RTP Awards Mr.
Prince Mackay said "as a Ghanaian who believe
in Ghana and made in Ghana products and
services, the wisest thing to do is to have
manufactured the tickets here."
"Past experiences sometimes forces all of us to
take certain decisions. The truth is, we once
hired a Ghanaian company to print the tickets
here in Ghana. Unfortunately, the very company
we contracted to print the tickets was the very
one that clandestinely printed the same RTP
Awards tickets and sold to patrons at our
expense."
Ending, Mr. Mackay revealed: the tickets come
with many security features and was
manufactured by a very reputable company in
South Africa. That company manufactured the
tickets for the recent past Rihaana concert in
South Africa."
'Damages' goes for – GHC 100 for VIP and GHC
50 for Regular. Ticket venues are; Peace fm, Joy
fm, Rainbow radio, Baatsona Total, Tema
Community 11 shell filling station, Koala and
Silverbird. Signals picking from the ticket venues
indicates that patrons are grabbing their tickets
at an alarming rate.
When one female fan who gave her name as
Vanessa Dadson was asked why the rush for a
ticket she intimated "I think it's time we stop
our typical Ghanaian late hour rush for event
tickets. I've come to realize it's a very bad
character."
The award proper comes off on 5th December,
2013 at the Accra International Conference
Center AICC at 7:00 pm. The headline artiste for
the event is the evergreen Abrantie Amakye
Dede and other artistes such as: Cecilia Marfo,
Paapa Yankson, Tutulapatu, and Herty
