I Represented Ghana Well – Miss Universe Ghana 2013
Hanniel Jamin, Miss Universe Ghana 2013 has said she represented Ghana
to the best of her ability at
the 2013 edition of Miss Universe pageant,
though she did not win the crown.
"I represented Ghana well and I did my very
best but I didn't come out victorious. We can
only give thanks to God for whatever happens,"
Hanniel told NEWS-ONE.
This year's Miss Universe finals took place
November 9 at the Crocus City Hall—the only
world standard multifunctional arena in Russia
amidst a lot of activities.
Hanniel left Ghana for the event on October 23,
amidst controversies with Ghana franchise
holders of the pageant and it was perceived that
she was not well prepared physically and
psychologically for the pageant like other
contestants due to the issues she had with the
organizers.
But Hanniel did not disgrace Ghana on the
world platform. She returned to Ghana on
November 12 and has since been living a quiet
life.
She said it was a good experience being part of
the pageant and she did her best.
"Competing in the Miss Universe 2013 pageant
in Moscow, Russia was a very great opportunity
and I did my best to represent Ghana well," she
emphasized.
