Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah, according
to reports, has signed a mouthwatering deal
with an international soft drink company.
While details are sketchy, sources say the
deal is worth thousands of Ghana cedis and it
will see the actress lead a campaign in
promoting a new drink of the company ahead
of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Sources say, Martha left Accra last weekend
for Bangkok, Thailand to shoot a television
commercial for the new product.
Management of the actress told Myjoyonline.com that the young actress
will lead series of activities including media campaigns in Ghana and
Nigeria to promotethe product but failed to give further details.
The award winning actress, who has starred
in many movies in Ghana, Nigeria and South
Africa, has expressed her delight with the deal.
According to her management, the actress
said the deal offers her "an opportunity to
show my fans and the world my diverse
talents aside acting. Am grateful to my
partners in this project, my management
team and my fans for your continuous
support… I won't let you all down."
