Swarm of 5,000 honey bees attack woman shopper in central London

This is the moment a female shopper found
herself swarmed by thousands of bees
after unwittingly disturbing them outside a
shop in central London.
These bees not only caused the closure of the
shop but a large section of the pavement as
well after the queen bee settled on the
window.
Luckily for all involved, a trained bee keeper
happened to be walking past at the time.
Tony Mann, a project manager for John Lewis,
was walking down the street and took charge
of leading people to safety so the bees could
be moved to a new home.
'We are going to smoke them into a box and
encourage them to stay there and we will
remove them later today,' he told passers-by.
Mr Mann identified the flying insects as
European Honeybees who had followed their
queen to the seemingly irregular spot.
