Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been urged to quit Liverpool this. summer and join Barcelona – so he can be closer to his family.
Suarez, who has been strongly linked with an Anfield exit this summer, reportedly told friends this week he is considering a switch to Barca, with the Catalan club considering making a giant bid for him.
And now his father-in-law Gustalvo Balbi, who lives in Barcelona, has told Suarez his time is up on Merseyside and he should consider a switch to Spain, ideally with Barca, or even with Real Madrid.
‘It is the right time for a change,’ Balbi told La Sexta.
‘He has nothing left to prove in England. The best solution would be if he were to go to Spain.
‘We would like to have them close to us in Spain [with Barcelona] but it does not matter which team he signs for. He would do very
well over here.’
Liverpool are yet to comment on the Suarez speculation.
