Different issues about life give inspiration to artistes when
composing songs so the desire of highlife artiste, Quarme Zaggy to
encourage men to 'publicly declare their affection'(PDA) for their
partners pushed him to create his new single See Saw which was
released a week ago.
On 'See Saw', a highlife song which features Voltage, a sound
engineer, Quarme Zaggy is heard singing about the unique virtues and
qualities of the "special woman" in his life.
Recorded by Voltage who sings verse two of the song, Quarme Zaggy does
well to employ lyrics that aptly define his mood. Quarme Zaggy
expresses how he misses his loved one anytime she is not around among
other praise singing.
According to him, if all men could understand and know what their
ladies want, there wouldn't be the need for break ups or quarrels in
relationships. Quarme Zaggy, real name Kwame Ampah, says hardly does
he pick quarrels with his partner because he knows and understands the
dos and don'ts of relationships.
"I want every man to give his lady the best of care and love. Most of
the time, couples break up because they do not take the time to know
each other's strengths and weaknesses, he told Showbiz in an interview
last Monday.
Prior to 'See Saw', Quarme Zaggy, who mentions Pat Thomas and Amakye
Dede as his mentors, had released his debut 15-track album, Nyankonton
two years ago. Some of the songs on 'Nyankonton' album were 'Just The
Two of Us', 'Me Ne Woa' and 'Gyantua'.
Currently managed by Flex Entertainment, Quarme Zaggy who has worked
with musicians Okyeame Kwame, Trigmatic and Reggie Zippy is a graduate
of Cape Coast Polytechnic.
