Scores Feared Dead, Others Trapped As Building Collapses In Synagogue Church

Scores have been reported dead and many others trapped when a
building in the premises of the popular Synagogue Church of All Nations,
Ikotun in Lagos collapsed.
Founded by Prophet T.B Joshua, SCOAN is a Mecca of sorts to local and
foreign visitors, who throng the church on an almost daily basis in
search of miracles, among others.
Rescue operation is ongoing with ambulances taking injured persons out of the building.
The collapsed building is said to serve as guest house for foreign visitors.

No fewer than 15 bodies have been recovered from the scene of the
collapse of a building inside the premises of the Synagogue Church of
All Nations, SCOAN, in Lagos.
Spokesman for the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, Friday
Adeboayo, confirmed the recovery of the dead bodies adding that rescue
operations are on to evacuate injured persons.
The six storey building under construction collapsed around 1.00 pm on friday.
