Over the weekend, about Two thousand (2,000) peoples joined the Brong
Ahafo Road Safety Commission in a health walk.
The Road Safety Walk was part of activities use to mark the 2014 Road
Safety Week which was under the theme: "Empowering passengers and
pedestrians to demand road safety."
It rained during the walk but the crowd went through it to complete
the course in the principal streets of Sunyani.
The only drawback or lapse was a management and consulting firm who
promised to partner with the commission backed-out in the last minute.
Gardiner Gold PTE Partners stated that, they would run road safety
campaigns through the year and even the new year, by placing road
safety campaign billboards along the Accra-Kumasi and
Kumasi-Sunyani-Tamale Highways, but the end result was failure and
disappointment.
