Popular Ghanaian hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has admitted in an exclusive interview with Ghana’s most influential drive time show host Bola Ray on Starr 103.5FM that the year 2014 was a difficult one for him.

Kwaw Kese was incarcerated at the Kumasi Central Prison after he was arrested for illegal use of a narcotic – Indian hemp – in public.

The Mr. Lover Lover rapper was granted bail on December 30 last year in what lawyers have argued was a non-bailable offence after his Counsel pleaded with the judge to grant their client his liberty on health grounds.

Recounting the alleged murder of his manager Fennec Okyere in March that same year, ‘The man insane’ as Kese is popularly known, said he is grateful he is still alive after all that he has been through in 2014.

Okyere was shot dead at his Manet Gardens residence on the Spintex Road in Accra on March 13, last year.

“It was a bad year. 2014 was a bad year but for me I think everything is God’s doing. I give thanks for life. I know things happen, people go through a lot and things happen to make man a stronger being and I think those things have made me a stronger person now,” he said.
