‘I want to play in Germany’ – Jordan Ayew

Lorient forward Jordan Ayew has revealed that he would relish the
chance to play in the German Bundesliga one day.
The 22-year-old has been touted toreunite with coach Herve Renard
atLille this summer, with the ex-Ivory Coast coach admitting thatthe
Ghana international wants to join him at his new club in the French
Ligue 1.
Jordan, however, hints that he might prefer to try another league,
with Dortmund as an attractive proposition as an elite team.
"I can very well imagine playing in Germany.The Bundesliga is one of
the strongest leagues in the world," Jordan told the Sports Bild.
"Negotiations are still ongoing withseveral top European clubs.
However, the my dream is to play in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund will be ready to snap up Jordan, who they see as an ideal
replacement for Ciro Immobile, the Italian striker who recently signed
for Spanish La Liga side Sevilla.
Jordan was acquired by Lorient on a permanent deal from
OlympiqueMarseille in July 2014.
He had a fantastic season last term, scoring 12 goals for Les Merlus
which contributed to their narrow escape from relegation.
His contract with Lorient will expire in 2018.
