Ghanaian gospel singer, Great Ampong, has revealed that his upcoming
album with Daddy Lumba will be released early this month.
According to him, Daddy Lumba began his music career with gospel and
will end with gospel music.
Ampong added, backup singer for the ace musician who also works for
him disclosed Charles Kwodwo Fosu popularly known as Daddy Lumba was a
great fan of his works.
Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong, revealed he received call from Daddy Lumba
requesting a meeting at Golden Tulip Hotel.
Lumba lifted him and said “If only Ghana knows the talent in you,
theywill lift you more than I have done”, Ampong said.
The Hossana hit maker however added, he did not hear from him for two
years not knowing he was very sick in bed, after several attempts to
communicate with him proved futile.
His album with Daddy Lumba has ten tracks, will be released early this
month but they are yet to choose a title for the album.
Great Ampong was the leader of Lumba brothers group way back in school
and he proudly said he can sing all his songs.
