In the usual innovative fashion that the brand has come to be known
for, Frank Media Limited, Brong Ahafo's number one multimedia company
will soon out it's 6th radio station in September 2015.
Abapa 90.1MHz is aimed at changing the status quo on the airwaves,
inspiring and empowering the current generation, particularly the
young people to take charge of their lives, develop themselves and
move their society to the next level.
The General Manager of the station, Mr. Godfred Afosah speaking in an
exclusive interview with the News Hunter Daily Magazine disclosed that
Abapa FM is established not to compete it's sister stations or outwit
the other media houses, rather to make a difference and also improve
upon the already existing atmosphere in the radio industry in the
region.
He said though Dinpa FM and Abapa FM operates in the same building
each has it's own purposes, visions and programmes.
He lauded that Abapa FM will be counted among the best 3 radio
stations in Sunyani.
"Abapa FM is ready to provide quality programs for it's listeners and
presenters may be directed to work for their sister stations but that
will not be frequent."
Mr. Afosah asserted that, "the fact that every radio station is going
the normal trend does not mean Abapa FM will do same, we have our own
creative and innovative way of doing things."
According to him, "Abapa Fm is safe for the public and every aspect of
their content to be broadcast will be subjected to intricate systems
of screenings and scruting to ensure our content meets the highest
standard."
