Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Ernest Opoku has stated that he
enjoys listening to secular music.

Entertainment Chart Show—Ernest Opoku posited that he is a fan of any good song
which motivates and teaches the principles of life.

“I listen to secular music…my favorite musicians are Amakye
Dede, Daddy Lumba and many others. I always stay off songs which are profane.
Some of the messages in these secular songs carry a good content which helps to
motivate others in their daily activities.”
Ernest Opoku who performed his latest track on the rhythm of
Bisa Kdei’s ‘Brother Brother’ track said he wasn’t a fan of him—but the content
of the song entertains and also motivates.
He added that the rhythm was an ‘Ashanti Rhythm’ of which he
loves so much.
Ernest disclosed that he will be grateful to have collaboration
with Bisa Kdei.
“I know Bisa have heard that I have released a song which
was performed under his rhythm …I will be happy if we can come together and do
something to praise our maker.”
He revealed that he is working tirelessly to unveil his
latest album soon.
According to him there’s nothing wrong for him to perform
under a rhythm of a secular song.
He indicated that music is all about the word of God,
Entertaining and also motivating the weaker ones.
