Emelia Arthur

Fast rising Ghanaian gospel musician, Emelia Arthur has
stated that Jesus is her foundation—and she does not believe in Juju.
The ‘kyere me kwan’ singer speaking in an interview with Mr.
Lattus on J.life Fm’s Entertainment Chart Show said she will devote her time to her creator
who is superior than any power on this earth.

“I don’t believe in juju. People have been saying that it exists—but
I don’t believe in it. In Ghana here, if you can do something better than your
compatriot—then they begin to believe that you’re using juju. People always
turn blind eye on how you struggle to succeed and judge you base on your
current status.
“It’s something that we need to change about—I don’t believe
in it. What I believe in is the blessing of the lord. Jesus has the power more
than that juju or Mallam—so I put all my trust in that Master Jesus,” she said.
Speaking on her endorsement as Made in
Ghana Ambassador, Emelia articulated that its part of God’s favor—and good
plans bestowed to her.
“You should believe in God’s
favor, God is still doing wonderful things and that’s what I believe. There were
so many big artistes in the industry—but the favor came on my path and I was
chosen to be the Ambassador of made in Ghana products. I believe in the word of
God and that’s what leads me in whatever I do.”
Emelia Arthur explained that she
doesn’t have any links or protocol to the authorities who endorsed her.
“I don’t have any links in the
Ghanaian government—but I think all is part of the favor and the grace of God.
I started campaigning on the usage of made in products before I was endorsed by
the ministry. Whatever you want to do—do it with a clean heart.
“Things weren’t easy when I
started, I used my own money for the past two years—I had a feeling that God
will lift me somewhere so I sacrificed. I was very optimistic and surely he did
show me the way. I’m yet to shoot a video which will be showcasing made in
Ghana products to the world,” Emelia Arthur disclosed.
