Atebubu: A Nursing Mother Can’t Trace Her Baby After 2 Hours Of Delivery

A 20 year old mother, Grace Kuma can’t trace her bouncing baby boy after 2 hours of delivery in a maternity home this dawn at Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Atebubu-Kwame Danso Police Commander, Superintendent Joseph Dzinaku speaking with Kwabena Obeng Akrofi on Ark in the morning Thursday said the police have launched investigation into the matter.

He charged the general public to assist them as they begin investigations into this delicate issue.

According to him, the father of the baby who had several altercations with the mother throughout her pregnancy period was released from custody after he was detained yesterday.

He explained that the father has vowed to assist them in their investigations.

Victim’s Account

Grace Kuma who delivered around 12am disclosed to Ark News that she felt asleep after she ate a tea and fried eggs brought by her husband, Peter Boagye.

According to her, the baby was nowhere to be found after she wake up from the deep sleep.

She added that that, she had an unhealthy confrontation with her husband’s new girlfriend during her pregnancy period.

“She threatened me that my life is short on this earth,” Grace narrated adding that, her rival needs to be held responsible for anything that will happen to her.
