I Am Not Copying From Kwaku Manu—Mmebusem Speaks Out

Ghanaian actor Justice Hymns popularly known as Mmebusem has debunked reports that he is imitating the style of Kwaku Manu.

Speaking to Mr. Lattus on J.Life Fm’s Entertainment Chart Show, Mmebusem who is notably known for quoting from the book of Proverbs said he is versatile and his style is different from that of Kwaku Manu.

He postulated that Kwaku Manu is a motivational actor but their style of acting is not the same as claimed by a section of the Ghanaian populace.

“I’m not imitating anybody. I’m unique. I wonder why people will say that I’m imitating someone. It will never happen because I’m versatile and I see everything I do as a God given talent.

“Kwaku Manu is a motivational actor…he is my brother but what I can say is that our style is not the same. I like him very much. He inspired when shooting the Enyi me mma movie,” he stated.

Mmebusem revealed that he is somebody who learns a lot.

“I just don’t wake up to do things. I study a lot before I act.”

He further stated that Akan movie actors are not limited as perceived by some people.

Mmebusem who began his acting career in 2007 has starred in several movies which include Nsroma the Shoe Shine boy, Electricity Power, Evangelist LilWin, School girl, Agya ne Oba and others.
