Ghanaian actor, Sean Paul has stated that some movie producers invested their monies into the sale of mobile phones due the erratic power supply otherwise known as Dumsor which engulfed the nation.
According to him dumsor had a bad effect on movie production in the country.
“Producers invested their monies into the selling of mobile phones because of dumsor. Dumsor had a bad toe on movie production. It collapsed the industry. Now that the light is a bit stable, we have started to do our normal stuffs,” he told Abof Kay on Moonlite Fm.
Sean Paul disclosed that English comic actor-Charlie Chaplin is his role model.
When asked why he did not learned from any of the local stars, Sean Paul said he did not learned from them because he is in the same game with them…and it will not help if he imitates any of the local stars.
He revealed that God is his spiritual father and not Bishop Daniel Obinim.
Speaking on rehearsals before shooting a movie, Sean Paul said: “We do not need any rehearsals. We know what to do if you give us the story, we do not need any rehearsals in twi movies. It is the up and coming actors who need to rehearse.”
Sean advised Ghanaians to worship their creator very well, indicating that hell is real.
He added that he is ready to accept criticism from his fans whenever he does something wrong.
