We Are Preparing For The CAF Confederation Cup—Bechem United President

President of Bechem United, Mr. Kingsley Owusu Acheaw, has said the 2016 MTN FA Cup champions are preparing for the 14th edition of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2017.
“Bechem United will participate in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup and we are putting measures in place to upgrade the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park because we want to play our home matches at Bechem. We need to upgrade the pitch, stands and other things for the park to meet standard,” he told Alhaji Yahaya on Ark Fm’s Sports Center.
Mr. Kingsley Owusu Acheaw disclosed that his outfit will make some new signings to strengthen the team.
“Very soon we will make some new signings. After putting up a spectacular performance, we know certain clubs will chase some of our players but we have already taken care of that. We will let you know after making any successful signings.”
After winning this season’s MTN FA Cup, President of the hunters believes ‘juju’ does not work and football is all about investing your money right and preparations.
“With good planning you can achieve whatever you want to achieve. Winning this cup tells me that juju does not work in modern football,” he emphasized.
Mr. Owusu Acheaw called on the people of Brong Ahafo to rally behind the team as they prepare for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Bechem United booked their ticket to represent Ghana in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup after they thrashed Okwahu United by two goals to one at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
