Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Multiple award winning Ghanaian afrobeats/hiphop artist-Desmond Kwesi Blackmore popularly known as
D-Black has opposed to claims that he is a terrible rapper.

The CEO of Black
Avenue Muzik in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz said he will not buy
such assertions because he does hit songs.
 “I don’t understand
why anyone would say I am a terrible rapper because I do hit songs.

Vera, Personal Person, Kotomoshi, Carry Go are few songs of mine that everyone
jammed to and no one can dispute the fact that they are good songs” he stated.

D-Black pitched himself among the best rappers in Ghana.

“After recording in a studio, I am very much confident Ghanaians will love it
and I have never disappointed as a musician. My lyrics are great and straight
to the point and any good musician will attest that I am one of the best rappers.”

According to him, people term him as too known because he raps in English.
He also revealed why he collaborate with rappers/singers who
are good in the local dialects.

“Yes I do a lot of features and I don’t regret them because I don’t flow well
in the local dialect. It is best for me to go in for a good musician who is
good with the local dialect than do it myself and get it wrong.”

D-Black is currently out with his third studio
album titled Light Work.
