American singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift has released her latest album titled ‘Reputation’.

The album which is her sixth studio album contain 15 songs—and comes after her record-breaking album 1989 which was dropped three years ago.

The 27-year-old singer appears to be talking about her relationship with Joe Alwyn while addressing the feud which ensued between her Kenya West—alongside his wife, Kim Kardasian.

On the biting track “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things,” Swift sounds off on being “stabbed” in the back by a former friend (probably West).

“Friends don’t try to trick you / Get you on the phone and mind-twist you,” she sings about the infamous edited call leaked by Kardashian West.

Fans are speculating “I Did Something Bad” and “Getaway Car” were inspired by her whirlwind relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston, whom she dated for several months after calling it quits with deejay Calvin Harris. The high-profile fling drew harsh criticism from those who slammed how quickly Swift moved on from Harris.

“I never trust a playboy but they love me / So I fly them all around the world and I let them think they saved me,” she sings on the track. “They’re burning all the witches even if you aren’t one / They got their pitchforks and proof, their receipts and reasons.”
And on “Getaway Car,” Swift reveals one of her past relationships just wasn’t meant to last.

“I wanted to leave him / I needed a reason / X marks the spot where we fell apart,” she sings. “But with three of us, honey, it’s a side show / And a circus ain’t a love story / And now we’re both sorry.”

To top it all, Taylor Swift penned a heartfelt letter to fans in Reputation‘s album booklet. “Here’s something I’ve learned about people,” she starts off. “We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them they have chosen to show us.”

“We are never just good or just bad. We are mosaics of our worst selves and our best selves, our deepest secrets and our favorite stories to tell at a dinner party, existing somewhere between our well-lit profile photo and our drivers license shot,” she continues.

“I’ve been in the public eye since I was 15 years old. On the beautiful, lovely side of that, I’ve been so lucky to make music for a living and look out into crowds of loving, vibrant people. On the other side of the coin, my mistakes have been used against me, my heartbreaks have been used as entertainment, and my songwriting has been trivialized as ‘oversharing,’” adds Swift.

“Let me say it louder again, louder for those in the book… We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them they have chosen to show us. There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation,” she concludes.

In sexy tracks like “Delicate” and “Dress,” she seemingly opens up about her intense connection with Alwyn, 26.

“Do the girls back home touch you like I do / Long night with your hands up in my hair / Stay here honey I don’t wanna share / ‘Cause I like you,” she sings on “Delicate.”

So far, reactions on social media indicate that her fans are in love with the ‘Reputation’ album.
