Aduana Stars FC Progresses To The Next Round Of CAF Champions League

Dormaa Ahenkro-based Football Club, Aduana Stars has progressed to the next stage of the CAF Champions League.

The ‘Ogya Boys’ thrashed Libya’s Al Tahaddy by two (2) goals to Zero at the newly-renovated Agyemang Badu Park on Wednesday.

The two vital goals were scored by Elvis Opoku and Derrick Sasraku in the second half of the game.

Aduana Stars conceded a lone goal in the first leg which was played at Egypt.

Aduana Stars will face the winner of the tie between ES Setif of Algeria and Olympique de Bangui of Central African Republic.

      The Porcupine Warriors fought gallantly, losing by a lone goal in regulation time to leave the tie even at 1-1 over the two-legs.

      Kotoko also won the first leg by a lone goal in Kumasi a fortnight ago, squandering 3 penalty kicks in the process.
