GIJ SRC To Train Students In ICT Related Topics

The Students’ Representative Council of the Ghana Institute of
Journalism is set to facilitate the training of students in I.C.T. at the
Institute. 

This training, expected to start on Wednesday, 21 February, 2018, is part
of activities to mark a week-long celebration of the S.R.C for the 2017/2018
academic year.
The one day session dubbed, Tech Entrepreneurship Master Class shall
witness the presence of some resource persons who will be tasked to train
students at the E-Library Centre of the School in Podcasting, Website Creation
and deployment, Coding, Info graphic Design, Social Media Management, and other
I.C.T related activities.
This exercise is aimed at equipping students with the requisite skills
in technology, entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Other activities outlined for the S.R.C. celebration include; Health
Screening, N.H.I.S. Card Renewal, GIJ Homecoming, and Student’s Market among
others.
The S.R.C. Week celebration for this year, will kick-start on 19th
February, 2018 and end on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
The Executives, led by Martin Thompson have promised to make it the most
memorable in the history of the Institute.
